Tamarack Bay

We (the Hilliger's) own the Tamarack Bay cabin at Norwood. We had been staying there on vacation for almost 10 years having found a resort that we really enjoyed. A few years ago, Ed and Joan started selling the houses / cabins in advance of their retirement. Some of the cabin owners don't rent but several of us do. The renting owners will rent directly and are working together to coordinate groups, etc.

We have updated our cabin in a "Northwoods Theme" and have received many compliments. The cabin faces north about 50 feet from the lake and beach.

The cabin includes:

• Full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans, silverware, tacky refrigerator magnets, etc.
• Three bedrooms: two with queen beds and one with a full bed.
• Large open living room with adjoining dining area.
• Color cable TV with DVD/VCR player (board games too).
• Deck, picnic table and new charcoal grill.
• Nice 14 foot aluminum boat reserved for Tamarack use.
• Beamed cathedral ceiling with fieldstone fireplace.
• Full bathroom with tub and shower.
• Gas heat, well shaded with plenty of windows for summer breezes.
• Beach / lake about 50 feet in front of the cabin.
• Quiet and secluded, yet close to town (2 1/2 miles).

Technically "Norwood Resort" does not exist anymore and the cabins are now owned by individual families. The grounds are commonly owned and shared by all. Guests / owners of the cabins can use the same grounds / common areas as were always available at the resort: 400 acre Lake Thompson, 900 feet of shoreline, 13 acres common grounds, 2 fire pits, 2 beaches, playground and swing sets.

• Sheets and bedding are provided.
• Cabin is professionally cleaned between guests by Nameth Enterprises.
• Guests need to bring their own towels.
• There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with a queen beds and 1 with a full bed.
• No pets or smoking please.
• Life jackets are NOT provided.
• Cabins & grounds are only for the use of registered guests.
• Quiet hours 10 PM to 8 AM please.
• No firearms.
